Professional Profile
My career has always centred on leadership, organisation, and creating the right conditions for people to succeed. Before co-founding Time Savvy, I worked across education, social care, and the voluntary sector, most recently as a headteacher. These roles gave me extensive experience in leading change, solving complex problems, and building systems that balance both people and strategy, skills I now bring to the businesses we support.
In education, I led rapid school improvement initiatives, strengthened community cohesion, and collaborated with a wide range of professionals to deliver meaningful outcomes. As a Professional Development Lead for the Cornwall and Devon Maths Hub, and as a Sports Coach Trainer for Sports Coach UK, I designed and delivered training that built skills, confidence, and sustainable practice. I also worked in partnership with Headstart Kernow to deliver parent programmes that supported families and improved community wellbeing.
Beyond education, I managed a care home and outreach programmes, working directly with individuals with a range of complex needs. These experiences developed my ability to balance compassion with clear decision-making, manage challenging situations, and put effective systems in place that support both people and outcomes.
Alongside this, I trained extensively in mental health and wellbeing through Trauma Informed Schools, equipping me to lead with empathy and ensure individuals and teams could work with resilience. I also developed valuable skills in leading professional development, presenting at conferences, running purposeful meetings, and managing performance at every level.
At Time Savvy, these transferable skills allow me to help clients put structure around their priorities, manage change effectively, and create clear, sustainable systems. Whether it’s streamlining processes, introducing research-informed practice, or applying technology to improve efficiency, my focus is always on enabling clarity, confidence, and long-term success for the organisations we work with.
